This pic is from mid '90's, taken at University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. Went there '67 to '71. One of the payoffs of learning German in the native country was being able to proficiency out of 4th semester German. (The proficiency test was the same audio tape test I took as a junior at MAHS!) BTW-pictures have started coming in. Check out "Made Contact" and "More Contact" below.
OK, Folks, here's what I'm trying to do. This a work-in-progress. All ideas are welcome. Please use the "email" and the "guestbook." Entries are beginning to increase in the Guestbook and have come from alumni of all ages. My ambition is to receive pictures from other Class of '67 alumni, especially from the '67 yearbook which I was not privileged to receive, having left Mannheim in June of '66. I would like to compose pages like those for Class of '65 and '66. (links below) -BF
Showing here are the covers and cover pages of the MAHS Yearbooks for '63-'64, '64-'65, '65-'66 school years respectively. These are the source documents for these web pages. Lost the plastic cover for the first book, which is why it looks tarnished. As I took the clear plastic covers off the other books to scan them, I realized they had never been taken off since I put them on in Benjamin Franklin Village. '65 looks the best, don't you think? (BTW... click on '65 and '66 covers for other websites) -BF
